About Us
  • Who we are: We are a non-government charity organisation that carry out interventions with families and communities in order to facilitate in remoulding our future through youth regeneration by having a safe area for interaction and development. These services are offered  primarily to families with disabled children but also extend to other vulnerable or low income groups

  • Our Mission: This organisation was created as a means of awareness of the birth deformity Talipes, to embrace Khalel’s uniqueness, break stereotypes on disabilities, support and empower vulnerable groups, facilitate in improving quality of life, offer support to aid in strengthening families to help nurture more confident and resilient children for a greater future! We do a lot of community interventions and have touched the lives of over 10,000 children in the UK, Caribbean (Jamaica) and Africa (Uganda & Ghana) within the first 18 months of our operation and we still continue to grow consistently to meet our demand!
  • Where are we located?: We are based in the UK; where we carry out local community interventions in West Kensington, London but our other area of focus on an international scale is currently Jamaica as it is a very sentimental place to the founders of this cause for a vast amount of reasons. In September 2019 we also extended our work to Africa. We currently support other organisations and individual families in Uganda and Ghana. We aim to gradually expand other regions to support and minister depending on the need for our services and our resource availability
  • Current interventions: We currently work with groups of families island wide the United Kingdom and Jamaica on a freelance basis for those who don’t have direct access to our centre. However, we have a primary base where we do social, emotional and mental rehabilitation with these families and have a safe and thriving environment for them to have access to the internet, counselling sessions, do short courses to equip parents and school drop outs to return to work etc.
  • Community improvement :  We also run health expos to promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices, provide awareness on child safeguarding, First Aid courses, family day trips, mentor-ship schemes, scholarship scheme and a host of other services for the community of Manchester, Jamaica and  West Kensington, London. We are gradually expanding island-wide in both countries as well as on the continent of Africa.

  • Foundation inspiration: The foundation was founded 29th October 2016 by Kameka Tracy-Ann Uter as a legacy for her 3rd child Khalel Lasean Adams whom was born with a deformity called Bi-lateral Talipes in order to be able to make a positive outcome of a very devastating phase in our lives by supporting and offering a helping hand as a reminder that  no matter how small; we have to count our blessings. This organisation also embodies the difference that perspective can make when going through trials.
